Business people do this all the time. The business world recognizes the critical role that relationship building and leadership development can play in meeting their goals. As a result, business groups and corporations have invested a great deal in developing networks and forums for sharing best-practices, developing the next generation of leaders, and fostering a common worldview.

Building Partnerships supports peer-based learning and leadership networking via 2 mechanisms:

Cross Trainings & Learning Tours

It is our hope that one day the progressive movement will benefit from a support structure similar to that enjoyed by business leaders: one in which best-practices and lessons learned are shared among organizations in different regions, and the next generation of leaders has access to the knowledge and experience it needs to take movement-building to the next level.

What we can do today is help connect those who are taking on difficult organizing challenges in their communties to others who have traveled some of the same paths and are willing to share their experiences and solutions.
